More Math Games With QBall

Requirements for this game: 2 Players and 1 Qball are used.

 

QBall Challenge 1:
The Qball has the numbers 1 – 10 imprinted on it with the “Q” representing the number 10.

Player 1 bounces a Qball to waist height and catches it in such a way that the top number is visible to both players.

Then Player 1 bounces the Qball a second time the same way.

Both Players must add the top numbers from the first and second bounce.

The first Player to shout out the correct answer gets a point.

The first Player to accumulate 5 points wins.

Players take turns bouncing the Qball after each answer.

 

QBall Challenge 2 (Multiplication):
The Qball has the numbers 1 – 10 imprinted on it with the “Q” representing the number 10. 2 Players and 1 Qball are used.

Player 1 bounces a Qball to waist height and catches it in such a way that the top number is visible to both players.

Then Player 1 bounces the Qball a second time the same way.

Both Players must multiply the top numbers from the first and second bounce.

The first Player to shout out the correct answer gets a point.

The first Player to accumulate 5 points wins.

Players take turns bouncing the Qball after each answer.

 

QBall Challenge 3 (Subtraction):
A fixed number greater than 10 must be chosen before the game begins.

For example, the number 20 could be selected.

Next, Player 1 bounces the Qball to waist height and catches it in such a way that the top number is visible to both players.

Both Players must subtract the top number from the fixed number, (in this example 20).

The first Player to shout out the correct answer gets a point.

The first Player to accumulate 5 points wins.

Players take turns bouncing the Qball after each answer.

 

QBall Challenge 3 (Division):
A fixed number greater than 10 must be chosen before the game begins.

For example, the number 20 could be selected.

Next, Player 1 bounces the Qball to waist height and catches it in such a way that the top number is visible to both players.

Both Players must divide the top number into the fixed number, (in this example 20).

The first Player to shout out the correct answer (rounded to the nearest whole number) gets a point.

The first Player to accumulate 5 points wins. Players take turns bouncing the Qball after each answer.
